Hotels.com is a free app that lets you choose from over 100,000 properties. The options you come across can also be tailored to your travel preferences. I recommend signing up for a profile because it’s free, and you earn Elements for your stay that get you into different tier levels with their rewards program. This then turns into discounts on your stays and cashback for you!
Why I Signed Up for Hotels.Com
It’s a fairly simple rewards program that can be easily used. I started my account back in 2020 when I first started to get into traveling. As a frequent traveler for work and my desire to travel the world, Hotels.com has provided many options that helped me stay within my budget and earn rewards. After collecting ten stamps (or nights), their initial rewards program would take your ADR (average daily rate) and give you a free night at the cost to redeem.
Hotels.com rewards program changed back in July 2023 to OneKey, which I am still navigating. However, I love the larger discounts I receive that enable me to stay at some great places. Last year, I saved $2,100 on 35 nights and got $370 in cashback. The cashback isn’t too significant, but I consider it extra change I can save for a rainy day (like my 30th birthday). Think of it like Rakuten, when you’re online shopping.

The girls and I have been planning our summer trip, and we booked all our locations through my Hotels.com app. It’s been the best choice because we can look at different options and features and stay within our budget.
